By this point, you’ve been on campus a few times, registered for classes, and met your advisor. Now what? Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Currently enrolled students can make an appointment with an academic advisor by calling the Academic Services Office at 856-225-6216. You will gain full access to web registration system on or about August 25th.
Summer session III (July-August) business course registration still open; see course offerings at the Summer Session Office.
Online school 52 business courses are generally “Restricted to students with 135 major” until two weeks prior to the start of the semester (mid-August); if open “seats” are available, the 135 restriction will be lifted and allow non-135 majors access to those courses.
Any student attempting to take a non-Rutgers Camden course after the start of fall courses will need permission to do so via a Transfer Course Request.
Transfer students who have not yet submitted final transcripts should do so after completion of any remaining summer session courses and should contact Jonathan Smith in the Office of New Student Programs to ensure that he has received all official transcripts. If you received an AA or AS from your community college, make sure it says so on your official transcript.
We encourage you to participate in the New Student Day of Service on August 27th to get to know your fellow classmates and learn more about Rutgers Camden’s commitment to our host community.
Academic deadlines and timetables will be posted at the Registrar’s Office website.
Forms, curriculum worksheets, business faculty emails, etc. can be found on the Academic Services Office webpage.
Your Term Bill will become available approximately mid-July – watch your myRutgers portal.
The Academic Services Office will be open for walk-ins only during the first week of the academic semester– stop in with any immediate concerns, questions, or last minute schedule changes. Be sure to bring your curriculum worksheet with you, as it is required to see an advisor!
Enjoy the rest of your summer and we will see you soon!
